  7. One of the words I learned in this class was CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). CSS is a tool written in HTML language that is used to add different visual qualities to website, such as different margins, lines, colors, background images and more.

  23. A pixel is a single, tiny dot in a display. When when thousands of pixels connect together, a graphic image will form. The color of the pixel will determine the image color. They are usually microscopic so that they form images when viewed from a distance. Pixels are in all electronic displays and turn on and off.

  30. This week in class I learned the definition of vector design. Vector design is the usage of vectors, or small geometric shapes, to create images that are smoother than pixels in appearance. These small shapes make up a bigger picture when seen from afar. Since monitors render using pixels and not vectors, it is only ideal that vectors are used for printing pictures of high quality.
